The game is worth watching just for that alone!

Erickson and Kelly need to have solid contributions for us to win.... .or Ekeler finds the fountain of youth! I see no reason to be confident in either our offense or defense but I will surely be rooting for the bolts to put it together.

The playoffs start for both teams, probably.

LFG Chargers - kick some ass and get that win. 24-17 Chargers

I am going to my daughter’s charity fashion show today so will avoid all electronics throughout until I get home and can watch DVR late afternoon. SHHH - no shouting out there! You guys have a great fun time blasting stupid donkey plays and cheering on Our Bolts in real time.

                Yep, mediocre wins the day.
Owners would love to see that outcome, if for no other reason than to justify keeping Staley and Telesco around( i.e. they wouldn't have to eat any money!).
I would think losing the rest of the way equates to winning in the long run..
That said, our D has held 6 opponents to 20 or less this year and we still only have 5 wins. Not holding out hope.....

The Steelers were 9-7-1 in 2021 and got in.

There were three 9-8 teams that season, including the Bolts, who were the lowest seeded of the 9-win teams due having the lowest conference win percentage.

The Dolphins got in with 9 wins in 2022 with a 7-5 conference record.

The Chargers' conference record right now is 3-4. If they did just win 4 of their final 5 their conference record would be 7-5.

It might come to down to head to head. If they lose to the Broncos today they lose that chance at a tie-breaker. They face the Broncos again in a few weeks, and the they play the Raiders and Bills, also competitors for a wildcard.

It's impossible to map out all the possible scenarios.

I guess my estimate is that 9 wins gives them a 50 percent chance, at best, to get in. Ten wins (and an 8-4 conference record) pretty much guarantees they get in.
The Chargers won the AFC West with an 8-8 record. Without looking it up I think it was in 2008 under Norv. Of course we didn't get to far in the POs. I think we lost to Tim Tebow
                  and the Donks.

There’s a good chance that 3 or 4 teams end up at 9-8….then it becomes crazy tie-breaker scenarios. Still think we’re getting WAAAAAAAY ahead of ourselves because odds of going even 4-1 are less than 10%.

We beat Indy at home as were division winners despite that record. Won it overtime with Peyton touching the ball. OT rules were changed as a result. Loss in Pitt
