8-8 Stadium vote does not have a prayer. Don't think Spanos cares.

AFC West 1-5 to 2-4
NFC Central 1-3 to 2-2, the two home games against the Saints and Bucs are winnable.
AFC South 2-2 Maybe a split - win both home games, lose both away games.
Cleveland, Dolphins, 1-1 to 2-0.
So, 5-11 to 8-8.
Final Prediction: 6-10.
The offense is going to be pretty damn solid until the injuries start hitting and if/when they do the team will be in trouble. The receiving combo of Allen/Benjamin/Henry/Gates/Woodhead will give defensive coordinators fits, and this team will be able to march up and down the field between the 20's. The real question is whether or not they have the "oomph" to put it into the endzone consistently when the field gets tight. They can put up a lot of points if everybody stays healthy.
The defensive side... they'll be running against the wind all season long.
The main problem with the defense is talent. There's 3 big negatives in the middle of the field (OLB Emmanuel, and the two safeties) and at nickel (Flowers) and dime (Mager) CB . There's two positives - Verrett, Perryman, three potential positives in Ingram, Mebane, and maybe Bosa this year (which will be another big negative until he actually gets into a game), and the rest is "meh" (Te'o, Liuget, and Hayward).
And the backup DL suck. Any one of the starters go down and this team is looking at getting rolled on the ground - especially if Mebane gets hurt (or even when he's taking a breather). Play action pass down the center of the field will be the death of this defense.Last edited by KNSD; 09-05-2016, 11:01 PM.Prediction:
Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.
