Chargers ILB Manti Te'o will be sidelined the rest of the season after suffering a torn Achilles' Week 3 against the Colts.

Here are straight up facts 3 weeks in

        1. Brown has more sacks than Teo all be it is only 1 (Teo career sacks 1.5)
        2. Brown has only 2 less tackles than Teo on the year Brown 15 vs Teo 17 (Of course Teo leads career wise)
        3. Brown has more pass defended 4 to Teo Zero (Teo career 9)
        4. Brown has a Force Fumble this to Teo Zero (Teo career 1)

If you want to continue to show all this love to Teo and as in the words Denny Green "then crown him then" , but reality is the stats are facts, Brown has more talent and has produced in a very short time and yeah he is going to make some mistakes.
The fact he couldn't make it through a half of football as Te'o's replacement is a bit concerning though.

For a change, I agree you. I absolutely hated that TT gave up so much to move up and draft him. IMO, he was going to fall, no need to make a move up of he wanted him.

Always felt he was just a guy. Hate to see anyone injured, but Te'o was over-hyped early on, fell like a rock in the weeks leading up to the draft, and never came close to being an impact player.

I agree that it's probably the end of the road for Teo in SD. Notably, Brown came in and actually made plays when he went out.

Now watch Teo go on to become an NFL hall of famer with some other organization.

I wouldn't mind bringing Teo back as depth on a cheap contract, but not as a 3 down LB.

Except he's probably just provide depth the the IR squad.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

He's got that going for him
So he hasn't ignored it? good. thank you. goodbye.

                          Fair assessment.

Crazy to think that he was once projected to be a top 5 pick leading up to that draft.
