I don’t see them as on the field coaches. I see them more as doing in depth study of future opponents so we are better prepared to play them. We have way too many coaches now for all these guys to be on the field.

I could see them as practice field supervisors, identifying when shit ain’t happening with the energy or frequency it should. A lot of been there seen that - I think Staley’s crew largely didn’t know when their practices weren’t effective - they thought their shit was the bomb, players coasting and they thought - man, these players are really dialed in and engaged.

hence some games just looked completely not ready for the opening whistle.
