I'm going to go out on a limb here and say we are drafting at least two wide receivers in this years draft.

Nabors and Pearsall would be sweet.

Only proven weapon so far is Palmer. Maybe Parham if he ever stay healthy, There’s still time to fill things out. Though I suspect it’ll primarily be through the draft.

His age isn't really relevant. His game isn't dependent on athleticism

No it isnt. He is a very good possession receiver. But defenses dont have to play deep or fear getting beat in the deep part of the field. How about we add that element to the offense? Palmer can provide the possession role.

It's probably best if we focus on the draft now with what we need and keep the cap open for when vets get released, and be very selective with who we add to the roster going forward.

Okay but couldn't Hortiz have taken care of the KA situation before all the big trades went down?
who knows what guys we missed out on because he waited until today to trade him.
Maybe he didn't get the offer until today but he had several weeks to prepare for the legal tampering period and frankly this looks unplanned and a bit of a reactionary move in response to Allen saying no to a restructure.
Hope I'm wrong, but from my vantage point, this looks suspicious.

So because Tom Telesco made a bad pick we are going to downplay a ridicuously stacked WR class that has 3 ultra elite studs at the top? QJ would not have been top 10 in this class.

You never know how these guys will work out. It's not a sure thing.

May as well trade Herbertvas we missed the window on his rookie deal and we have a complete tear down on offense. Let a rookie QB hand the ball of and grow with the young receivers

exactly, this draft is screaming WR. and we just cleared a ton of cap with the KA and MW moves. and we pick up a 4th round pick. it is sad from a sentimental standpoint, but makes perfect sense.
