Staley was an idiot. The kid overran a couple plays and never got another chance. He's gotten more coaching and better this year than he did all 2023

    Farmer beats out Rumph IMO.
Another TT 4th rounder bites the dust...

Worth noting, in the recent team practice photos,RBs Dotson, Patterson, Spiller and of course Vidal are all getting carries.
Matter of fact, every name you mention is getting equal attention. Not like our former OTAs. Not even slightly.
Harbaugh has a much bigger staff with a more detailed plan with everyone involved.
I'm way stoked to see trained professionals (staff) at work. ..And clearly, the players are responding to it.

Staley had 2 years to develop him.

I agree!.... i believe this is going to be a young aggressive, physical team..... having one older vet to play and be a good example for our super young and talented WR group.....

i think its good for any team wanting to be great, to have one good/solid vet at every position group.... and the rest of team are young aggressive talented guys willing to play hard and learn!

Im hoping Woods who has amazing speed and athletic ability, gets more physical and becomes a super star!

otherwise he might get cut before season...

                Agreed.
Woods developing would be a pleasant surprise and would be very useful.
He has better range than Alohi.
JT playing Single High would free up Derwin to more often do impactful things nearer to the line of scrimmage.
Maybe we do play modern football.

                  New scheme.
                  Clean start for everyone.
I am patiently waiting for anyone or everyone go surprise.

agree!.... its about whether Harbaugh and company get him to be super motivated and super physical..... if so he can become a great safety...

What's a bit baffling is that Woods was a real ballhawk in college but with known tackling issues...he played sparingly in his two years so far...with zero picks and zero PD's...don't know if Staley's D was too much to absorb for him, but u would expect at least a few PD's...

^ This...I'd rather have both Alohi and Derwin near LOS...maybe drop Derwin back to FS occasionally to split the deep safety duties with Woods in obvious passing situations...the Bolts did play Derwin at FS last year about 30% of the time...but if Woods can step it up, along with our newly juiced up pass rush, I think our D has the potential to be downright scary...

OK, this has a May 14 date on it so it’s probably not a repeat. DD goin DEEP AGAIN. I love it. Put this in the playbook.

Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
