Roman's offense will not be built in a day.

    Nice one . . . . . . . . . . . . ! True as well as clever . . . .

No second string backup OL player should be paid $6.5M, that is wasted opportunity cost to redeploy those resources more efficiently.

running the same script back will deliver the same tragic plotline.

      Not on the same planet . . . . . . . possibly not even the same solar system . . . .

Someone less lazy than me please look up Dupree's stats from this last season and compare them to Bosa's. THEN let's talk about how much Joey's worth going forward.

            Thank you.

Dupree's salary is 3m for 2025 and was 3m for 2024. Please tell me why the fuck we should spend a single dime over 3m / year for Bosa? Is this not a production / 'what have you done for me lately' league? If Joey brought something else to the table (like strong leadership) maybe he'd be worth more (like Mack), but he doesn't. In fact he's more like the opposite of Mack in that regard.

Bosa is gone, because Hortiz is not stupid and Joey's too proud to take a reduction in salary down to Dupree's level. My guess he's cut and some other sucker team will give him a fat FA contract because of his name and he'll bump around the league for a few more years collecting paychecks before retiring . . . . . . he'll be following the Clowney model .

Mack, Dupree, Tuli and Rumph, it's not bad at Edge
Give me another in the draft and we're set at the position.

                Good as well Jim!!

Keep it up guys - how many of these can we dredge up?? This is tailor made for Topcat - where are you?

Someone needs to make a list (could come in handy next year) . . . . .

                  Replace Rumph with Sweat and I'd agree . . . . . .

No second string backup OL player should be paid $6.5M Trey Pipkins has a winning attitude, is on the final year of his contract and provides 4 position depth at the scarcity position of OL, that is wasted opportunity cost to redeploy those resources more efficiently.

"The same script" would be to discard assets when we cannot afford to.
Harbtiz will approach roster building with less recidivism. Don't bring a Caterpillar D11 Bulldozer when a toy sandbox shovel is called for.

                      Even Topcat didn't "get it."

I knew it would take the erudite Lefty2SLO to figure this one out.

We gotta get this one right.

Changing the roster is repeating the same script and keeping the same roster is doing something new. 1984 Orwellian propaganda, bruh.

Specifically, where we disagree is how to go about roster building.

                          Bosa vs Mack.

Bosa is under contract. He is younger. Extend him. Over B4K's objections.

Does anyone know how healthy Bosa will be or how much his maturation process will continue ?

Mack is going to fade out, when exactly ? How much will DET, SF, WAS, LAR (NFC SB contenders) offer him ?

I am resisting the knee jerk common narrative.

                          Think a little, friends.
