They have the great skill of planting and cutting making that juke move to get open. Not every player can do that. Jefferson’s great at that. Justin Jefferson is great at that.

I like his hands. Those are traits that I see as a pro bowl receiver. I think the Chargers got a player who might be better than Matthew Golden as an overall prospect. It’s a great draft pick.
I wasn't all that impressed by the tape of Matthew Golden that I saw. I was more impressed by Luther Burden III, who has a tough-nosed style of play that would be perfect for the Bolts, but... Luckily, Tre Harris slipped as far as he did-- probably due to his having missed time with an injury, and not 100% recovered by the time the Combine rolled around.

      Oh oh.

Is that another way of saying he will take 3 seasons to develop because someone keeps using his first two seasons as an example of why not to give up on QJ.

Best looking Charger depth chart I've seen in years.

There will be further fine tuning by post regular seaaon game one.

(Loads of useful, maybe just released vets, obtainable with non-guaranteed contracts.)
        We play modern Harball.

If the run game becomes what it has the potential to become, then there won't be enough pass attempts for these WRs to all get big yardage numbers. Even Ladd might have a hard time getting much over 1,000 yards now that Herbert has some legit targets at TE. The key is wins, whatever these WRs get it will be enough to where the run game and the pass game are complementing each other to the point where defenses are constantly kept off balance. Wins is what ultimately matters, Philly has been having some issues with their big time WR over there because even tho the team is winning he's not happy with the touches he's getting That type of shit is what really rubs me raw about this new culture in the NFL, this fantasy football bullshit where people care more about the stats these WRs get rather than whether or not those stats translate to winning. The Chiefs getting rid of Hill and then winning two more rings, the whole run that NE had without big time WRs etc...hopefully none of these new draftees turns out to be one of those selfish assholes. We already know that McConkey, QJ, and Mike are not like that and I love that about our WR room!

I can see the theory that an improved double-hammer run game will reduce receiver production. I can also see an alternate theory that an improved run game causes defenses to devote more to the rush and opens up an explosive pass game. It cold even vary week to week as DCs try to pick their poison. Joe and Jim’s draft strategy clearly shouted they will not boxed into a one-dimensional “run” team.

Either way, all that matters is W like you say, I could care less who gets what yards or recs or carries any of that. The team players won’t care either. Anyone thats selfish and cares more about stats than team will be revealed. I don’t see such a receiver on our team right now, not sure about N Harris. if one is there- we’ll know and he’ll get new opportunities next year.

^ This...it's a TEAM game...and the goal of the TEAM is to get to the SB...that's why I was concerned about that report that in his final year with us, Slayer was barking at Herbie for not getting enough touches...okay, so Keenan put up some big numbers that season, but we had a big time losing season that year also...
              22 - TE Mason Taylor
              55 - RB Quinshon Judkins
              86 - DL Josiah Stewart
              125 - G Dylan Fairchild
              158 - C Jake Majors
              181 - WR Donte Thornton

I can only imagine how difficult it is to work as hard as these guys do (it's brutal!), and then have limited opportunities to contribute.

I'm not saying that this justifies becoming a distraction for the team, of course. But it's absolutely no mystery why this happens, when you have ultracompetitive people who practice hellishly-hard and then get few opportunities to play. I *get* how that would be monumentally frustrating.

                    Untapped potential as a seperator.
A few reps with Sails or Blaze Outs where he gets in and out of breaks very quickly. Often dominates at catch point.

These are some of the comments of James Foster on Tre.

Again, Zierlein projects Tre specifically to challenge MW, QJ for reps early.

Charger fit, not so much with Ole Miss usage but with route tree potential, as referenced by Hortiz, points to this being a precision pick.

The optimism has merit, as opposed to general success rate probability.
