Run the ball more with Hampton
Maybe use the TEs to chip a bit more or even the RBs
Shorter passing game to limit the pass rush

Works for me. I would say run some screens, but for some reason this team can't do screens very well. What's up with that?

I agree, I was specifically talking about the pass blocking. It's so frustrating because the oline is a really good run blocking group but they seem to steer away from that strength. They would rather let defenses tee-off on Herbert like a piñata.

I like to gush, being boring and intolerant. Just my nature. If I didn't love the Chargers I'd probably just watch an occasional local HS football game.
The NFL in general gives me a case of the ass. Our local Sonora HS team went undefeated a few times. State Champs in their class.
I've been a Chargers fan since '78 ( I was a Don Coryell fan) and have since regretted not following them since 1961 when I was in HS (SD area).

The Chargers problems are not going to be solved by SIMPLY running the football.

We will be essentially using quick passes, screens and occasional deep shots to set up trying to run the football.

Adjustments will be made according to defenses.

That is what is basic.

Bobby Hart - who hasn't played since 2022 was signed to the Practice Squad. Hart can play RT

So those four guys they worked out - Dunn was signed and the other three were not signed and a guy who h asn't played in a few years was.

You think the run blocking has been good this year?

First 3 games it certainly wasnt. RBs had zero holes to run through
