my new guess - NFL requires they post transactions within 24 hrs of making the transaction - they will show up 23:59 from when they did it? Idunno … maybe their web page data management crew were all busy with SM memes today …Justin Herbert is Elite. Ride or Die ...

The thing is that the team has a roster spot open and they didn't use it for Foster Sarrell even though Becton is out and both Bozeman and Pipkins are banged up...I think this means a trade is in the works, they're keeping that spot open for a player that will become a Charger in the next couple of days, is Jaelan Phillips from the Dolphins or might it be K Thibs from the Giants?
I like Phillips, he's a life long Charger fan like Jefferson, we need more guys like that, guys that are loyal to the BOLT!!!
Phillips perhaps. Never knew or heard he was a life long Charger fan.
After this week if we traded for Phillips we would be responsible for 10.29 mil remaining in his 5rh year option- Remaining salary owed by Chargers (after four games): 14 x $736,166.67 = $10,296,333.38

Look for Chargers to bring in Jedrick Wills OT. He was a 1st rnd pick (#10) by the Cleveland Browns in 2020. He has been injured throughout his career. The Chargers need help at tackle. Maybe he can move inside. I'm not sure.ADOPTED BOLT: Quentin Johnson
Season: WK4
REC: 22
YARDS: 337
TDs: 4
Time to put my money where my mouth is: Hampton will be better than Jeanty!

After years of watching defenders come up the middle untouched, I'm starting to wonder/prefer we had rather invested in building an elite OG/C/OG combo and go with serviceable tackles instead of the current approach.
You have to be strong up the middle. We are not, and have not been for a long time.ESPN Screename: GoBolts02

You have to be strong up the middle. We are not, and have not been for a long time.
Hortiz and Harbaugh have been here only a year-and-a-half, and they signed Becton, Bozeman, and Andre James. Becton was the only big-time investment there, but even that was low risk with a two-year contract, due to his history. They drafted Branson Taylor in the sixth round. He was a tackle in college and they switched him to guard. I don't think it's a huge shock that a sixth-round pick switching positions is on the practice squad, but some have already chalked him up as a failed pick.
I'm not sure what Hortiz and Harbaugh could have done differently during that time. There was no Zack Martin or Quenton Nelson when they were picking fifth overall last year, and this past April, Tyler Booker and Grey Zabel were selected before Hortiz and Harbaugh took Hampton, who looks like the real deal. Donovan Jackson went four picks after Hampton. I don't think it would have been wise to take Jackson over Hampton. I'm not sure Jackson will be any better than Zion. Some here were screaming for Will Fries, but from what I've been reading, he hasn't done any better in Minnesota than Zion is right now for us. Fries also missed 12 games last season. Doesn't sound like a guy I would want to sign for five years, $87.7 million, which is what the Vikings did.
I'm all for investing in the interior offensive line, and I'm sure Hortiz and Harbaugh are, too. I think they will when they find prospects or free agents they feel can be studs there. Unfortunately, I don't think there have been any available for them to grab, unless you consider someone like the undrafted, 5-11, 288-pound Willie Lampkin, who was another weird favorite on this forum. He was available, the Eagles took him on after the Rams dropped him following the preseason, and then Philadelphia placed him on injured reserve two days after signing him. So, yeah, there really hasn't been much, if anything.
