You can 'get paid' and still care about and prioritize winning - this is prevalent everywhere in the league. Mahomes cares, Kelcey cares, Mack cares, TJ Watt cares, etc, etc . . . . . . . . . . If you have core guys on your team that value money over winning then you have a losing team . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . and those snakes need to get smoked out and moved on.

and so cost wise and as it relates to FA dollars, the most cost efficient draft would be to go TE-OC-RB, and if you could land an Adisa Isaac day two w/an extra pick, that would be pretty much running the FA cost savings table.... Brock-Sedrick-Jonathan Brooks-Adisa Isaac.... saves 'bout $25m off any FA budget.... (@least based on my own selections/prognostications).... food for thought,

I don't know the free agents yet - so not sure how to allocate but I think they need - after Center the rest are in no particular order

Center - have to figure that out
TE - maybe Henry back for one year
S - is it Gilman or somebody else
RB - Ryan Leaf on GMFB mentioned Saquon Barkley - and I was thinkg "GTFO with that nonsense"
IDL -- Austin Johnson, SJD are gone, all they have is Otito and Matlock
LB - - Hanley is one, is Derwin the other maybe - I still they need a veteran LB

Not all of the above will come from the draft - Chargers need a lot

I think Allen is 90/10 coming back
I think Mack is still in the 50/50 range

Great news. I can't blame guys for leaving a team for better pay, they put their bodies through a meat-grinder and have a shelf life considerably less than the rest of us. To hear one of them saying they want to be a Charger for life, and mean it, they are a keeper. Hopefully KA will get a ring with us and be playing for a few more years to come.
