That can't be! A TPB member swore that Greg Roman was going to use Max Duggan the way the Saints use Taysom Hill!
Granted Coach Lynn said "he isn't 6'3 240 and can't run a 4.5 40 so those comps are wrong"
Duggan wasn't a good pick
Stick - time to move on

He and DeAndre Hopkins-- who was taken in the same draft class, btw-- both believe that if they can TOUCH the ball, there's no reason for not catching it. And they play like that.

Ironic, because Keenan made so many unthinkable, absurd catches.

I’m not talking about the tipped pass that nearly put Hurst on the disabled list for the season, but all the other balls that appear to be catchable.
You know…like the balls Johnston routinely drops in key situations.

The interesting issue is Fehoko also made a bad play here. Turning a bad pass into an interception on a ball that he had 0% chance of catching. Yet many here are saying good job on that bad play. My point is one bad play does not excuse another bad play. In the individual rooms with the coaches going over film the here are no coaches complimenting players there. The QB coach is going over every failure point for Stick on the play. The O line coach is going over every failure point for the O line, telling them if you gave an extra second of protection then the pass is good. The WR coach is telling Fehoko WTF are you doing pouring gas on the fire of a bad play? And discussing what NOT to do in a situation like that, the WR coach is not telling him, “it’s ok at least you tried, here is your participation trophy, balls have been tipped before so it’s OK to keep doing it”
I just don’t get people falling all over themselves to dump on Stick (who absolutely deserves it and probably is not long for the team) yet fall all over themselves to defend and make excuses for the WR who made a bad play and also is not long for the team, especially playing like that.
Those also can be very easily intercepted and the coaching staff would get on them for it.

He has to make a superior effort to catch every ball that comes his way. Making those catches is what makes you a great WR.
