Honestly I'd be a little concerned if Joe signed the most popular free agents aligned with a fan forum.
If we can predict Joe's moves, id imagine his competition could read his mind.

We wanted him to fix the interior o line and get an X WR who was a true #1 deep threat. You’ve got a list of them in your sig, man…
Instead, “we’re getting the band back together!!”

piece of mind knowing you have some one that can hold it down for a couple of weeks while your starting tackle recuperates
I don't agree, Pipkens has been a disaster on this o-line. An absolute turnstile or worse and has gotten Herbert almost killed on many occasions. He's been one of the weakest links on this Oline since he got here.
Just because our former coach and GM made a terrible decision drafting him and re-signing him doesn't make him a good player. Congrats to him for fooling them and making bank but that doesn't change the fact that he sucks at his job in the NFL, period.

Thats the conventional wisdom, posted by many - but ... idunno. Is it really better to have an X that doesnt get open and gets hurt frequently, just because he's an "X", vs two receivers more ideally suited for slot but either can (and do) line up outside and both do get open and are more likely to be available on game day?Originally posted by CanadianBoltFan View Post
But he doesnt provide what our offense was lacking. Ladd is Keenan now, except younger, faster and better at this point
or is it better to have the two best of the three receivers?
idunno, real question.Justin Herbert 2026 MVP Watch

Fred Warner won't play ST. We lost one of our best ST players in Nick Niemann and are replacing him with another good ST player, a move that needed to be made.Originally posted by DerwinBosa View Post
Never heard of him, so it's another idiotic move by Hortiz. If he wanted a linebacker he should have gotten off of his ass and traded for Fred Warner. We have the cap room!

If Allen is back - shouldn't be for more than 5m - as it would make no senseOriginally posted by Critty View Post
I mentioned Najee a month ago. When listing a couple big backs that would fit. AJ Dillion was the other free agent I mentioned as a fit. I think I got 1 like from WudEye for that post.
And also mentioned bring back MW and/or K.Allen since they both would be free agents and had chemistry with Herbert. Didnt get any likes for that, just jeers.
The Chargers have a better slot in Ladd and he isn't fast. Maybe if he bulks up to 250 he can be TE like Engram
