Bateman had a disastrous season, managing just 224 yards and 38 targets in 12 starts. It would be surprising if the Ravens were able to get real value for him on the trade market. He’s under contract through 2030. No, really. Johnston is probably the most viable trade target of these three, but he didn’t exactly shake his reputation for inconsistency last season even if he did perform better than his first two years in the league.
I would make a deal with the Saints, there is a connection there for one season with their HC correct? trade Johnston for their RG Ceasar Ruiz(?) who has a connection with Harbaugh from Michigan and would fill an immediate need for both teams...supposedly Ruiz has been up in trade talks before as in a year ago, so makes me wonder if the teams can't help each other out...Ruiz also has center experience so offers some important versatility assuming that the Saints still want to deal him...

Guys on GAC are talking about it right now. Suggest trading him now for a 4th, if they are not picking up his 5th year option and he is not in future plans. He was not a Hortiz draft pick.

There is lots of smoke about the Chargers looking at X receivers.

Based on what can happen with comp picks, meaning the Fulton/Dobbins will they or won't they - just give me the pick this year. They need the draft picks

Take the pick for QJ - sign Rasheed Shaheed -- call it good.
That is what GAC are saying on podcast right now. Take the pick now when you only have 5 picks if he isnt in future plans

The Chargers are clearly going to do something at WR...be it trade, FA, or draft. There is too much smoke

Mack could still get 23-25 APY out there if he wanted it, maybe even more...this is year three (?) that he has given the Chargers a home town discount just for the privilege of fucking the Raiders twice a year...you gotta love it, the guaranteed part is inconsequential as you're not cutting Mack so for all intents and purposes he's been on a three year fully guaranteed deal over the last three seasons if you want to look at it that way...

I am watching the GAC guys too CBF and as I was typing that, Alex said the exact same thing!

I had to go through my head to figure out when they could possibly get a comp pick - it would be 2028. That is too long to wait. Evne Alex figured out it would be a 2028 pick and Tyler said, the odds are low they would get a comp pick

why not go player for player with a team that needs a WR and a player we need? keeps our comp formula intact and we can add anything from Edge (NYG) Kayvon Thibodeaux, RG (NO) Cesar Ruiz, or some team with a surplus DT

I like the idea because you wouldn't need to sign a player so you make a good point

All depends on the player and contract. Ruiz for instance had a worse PFF than Zion Johnson

Thibodeaux, he would be good though - would be your third edge rusher for 15m per year. Same situation as Oweh as he would be a FA next year but at least you get one year to look at him

I like the second trade for sure. Also saves the Giants a ton of cap space

They might just re-sign Oweh today but it's something to think about if for whatever reason they can't get a deal done Odafe and he hits the market and someone like the Lions throws stupid ass money at him...

Oweh has a very aggressive agent

I say release DD, sign Skyy Moore and draft Da’Zhaun Stribling from Ole Miss. Stribling has good size at 6’2 205 lbs and speed at 4.37. He stepped up in the playoffs this year. That gives you 4 guys at 4.41 or better and 3 guys at or over 6’2. They also got Campbell that I know some of us are interested in seeing him develop because of his size and speed. I know people will roll their eyes at Skyy Moore, but he was one of the better punt and kick returners last year and he knows the system.
Sky Moore? He is a nothing signing. At Least Shaheed brings some juice and skill as a WR as well as a good return guy. Moore is MEH. Reading this morning QJ could be on the trade block. Probably rumor but i wouldnt be surprised either.

The only thing that matters is if Oweh wants to come back, sounds like he does, and if he wants it bad enough then his agent will come to him and say "look I can get you 25 in Detroit or you can sign here for 20, the decision is yours to make..."

If the numbers are too far apart it might not matter but let's assume that Detroit is offering 21 APY and LA is offering 19 APY...we just don't know what's happening behind closed doors, we just know what the experts predicted value on a player is and that's not always right, a lot of times those numbers come in way under or way over...Mack has made a mockery out of those predictions 3 years straight, Banks got way more than was projected in 2025, the experts might be making educated guesses but so many variables to take into account...is it the player's ultimate goal just to be the highest paid at his position or to go to the highest bid or to go somewhere he enjoys playing or to stay closer to family....there are just way too many variables to know for sure how these things will play out, Oweh could re-sign today for a number that shocks everyone for how team friendly it is or he could sign tomorrow for a number that shocks everyone for how "Christian Kirk" unexpectedly high it is...

I think we can perhaps get a 3rd. QJs season took a turn when the OL went down. He was on fire early. Both Keenan and Ladds yards per target went down with the OL play having to get shorter targets and Romans bland offense.
