Chase Daniel said Herbert insisted on keeping Keenan Allen, almost as if that was part of the deal of his 2nd contract. Daniel said you don't get rid of players like Keenan, which has been my position. But he also applied that to Joey Bosa, in his opinion Bosa still has a lot left and is worth keeping even with his injury history and salary.

Still need somebody to play IDL, LB and could use another CB, Center, Back Up QB not named Easton Stick.

I know the draft will bring some of that but looking at the roster -- brought back Mack, probably bringing back Allen -- add to other positions on the roster.

I'm going to miss this. I'm a little sick today thinking Mike is going to be making this plays for another team (please not the Chiefs). I was not a big fan of Mike when he was drafted. I thought #7 was too high (probably was) and he was a disappointment as a rookie. The UDFA Terrell Williams was better than Mike, even in Mike's 2nd season. Mike really won me over when Herbert took over as QB, so many big plays. His best season was 2021 with 1146 yds and 9 TD grabs. Mike and Keenan were 12th and 13th in receiving yards that season. It's too bad he couldn't overcome the injury bug and that he won't be a part of the Chargers' resurgence under Harbaugh.
