Like yesterday, when it was announced MW was released but talk of bringing him back - my thought was, all things equal - the Chargers should be targeting Hollywood Brown over Mike Williams. Granted, I don't see MW as being an option - that just sounds good for the press to say "open to coming back." And I htink Hollywood Brown is going to the Chiefs. But like you said, with Allen and Palmer, the Chargers need speed and playmaking

If the Chargers get Nabers and Wright, that would be a very good combo to add in the draft

We'll see . . . . . . . . . Bosa has to buy in, and he's normally off in Florida doing his own thing (except for last year)

MH2 or Nabors. We need playmakers. If we trade down OT looks likely.
Sorry, this simply isn't true. This doesn't move the needle at all. If the Chargers have decided that in certain scenarios they would take Bowers, this signing does nothing to change that. All this does is add depth to the TE room. He signed for the vet minimum. Every FA signing is not being signed to be a starter some will be signed for depth. This is exactly what Hortiz said he wanted to do, build depth.
              1) Cut Becton, Boz(ret), Dissly, DD, Fisk, and Dupree
              2) Re-sign Tart, Hand (4m), Phillips (5m)
              3) Sign the ERFA's Williams, Patterson, and Vidal (3m).
              4) Sign free agents Cole Strange (OG-1.5 m), Whyatt Teller (OG-10m), Luke Fortner (OC-6.5m), Brunskill (OC-vet min) Leo Chenal (LB-5m), Rashid Shaheed (WR- 14m), Cade Otten (TE-8m) Greg Dulcich (TE-3m), K'Lavon Chaisson (ED 9m), Myers (DT-7.8m), Alec Ingold (FB-6m), Hendrickson (ED-25m), Seumalo (OG-9m), AVT (OG). Jenkins (OG- 12m)

                Truth!

Popper mentioned one team reached out to a trade -- would have taken it.

I see Hayden Hurst the same as signing somebody like Bozeman or Cole at Center. It adds depth - but if all goes well in the draft, the "rookie draft pick" will be teh wanna-be starter

I agree, Bowers is still an option. Probably behind Nabors and OT - but sure, still an option.

Harbaugh is a leader and knows how to get the most out of his players. This is the exact type of coach Bosa needs. I think (hope) we will see a new motivated Bosa next year. If not, he will be in Harbaughs doghouse, and I don't think he will want to to be there.

Both new TE’s are going to play a ton. They are primarily blocking TEs. Fullbacks, really in Harbaughs system.
Hortiz has officially fixed the run game.

I’d love to get Bowers but it just looks like they want to go big boy run and max protect Herbert.

I just hope he can keep Bosa from getting hurt. Thats been the issue.

It definitely seems like it will be a skill position. Bowers or Nabors. Either would be fantastic.
