U better believe he'll want a lot more than that $19 mil he's earning this year...

Agree, can't believe the team would spend that much on a receiver, would rather get a cheaper one on a rookie contract.

      something gotta be up.

this team has no legit offensive weapon that Herbert can depend on.

hoping a draft pick to turn into that his first season is wishful thinking. hoping a rookie TE is even bigger wishful thinking then a WR

even if Jim wants to turn this team into a running team... you would think of actually having a legit threat at that position instead of journeyman.

all the top QBs have that one guy on offense.

      Justin Jefferson maybe?

would definitely take JJ over both Keenan and Mike together

I am just glad the the new regime looks at things logically and are not emotional basket cases.
I'll check for emotional support animals on the online Chargers store next time I order something.

Jefferson wants $30 mill per season. That is a lot of money unless he is the crown jewel of a passing team. Also a guy who likes everyone to focus on him, which is not exactly Harbaugh's thing. Plus, while we have Herbert as part of the sales pitch, what are people saying about Harbaugh and Roman. They have never really had an elite WR, and they are going to play running first. The fact that those are very subjective, and not altogether true doesn't necessarily matter. And can we justify that much money to a guy who is not the focus of the O on every play?

Mahomes won 2 SBs after his rookie deal, I think we will be fine.
Trade down 2 times. Hortiz said he hopes to get more pics!

You remember that time when Justin Jefferson flipped the ball to Keenan Allen after that great catch he made when the Vikings were playing the Chargers! Well, that incident could have significant meaning if the Chargers ultimately trade for him! I would think we probably are either are going to get Jefferson (His dad played on the Chargers back in the day!) or one of the big three WR's in the draft either way. So I like the direction our WR position is going with the goal being to solidify the position!

There is no doubt the Vikings are loading up to make a move to trade up to take a QB. The question is which team and what are they going to give up making that move. They now have 2 first round picks. #11 and #23.
                My final Mock:

                1) Woods, Peter- DT/Clemson
                2) Pregnon, Emmanuel- OG/Oregon
                3) Moore, Derrick- EDGE/Michigan
                4) Demmings, Charlie- CB/S. F. Austin
                6) Klein, Marlin- TE/Michigan

<Sigh>. We are not trading for Jefferson!!!

Justin Jefferson is NOT Shawn Jefferson's Son. Van Jefferson is and he isn't doing very well.

It would cost the Chargers the 5th pick plus a future FRP for Justin Jefferson. There is absolutely no way in hell the Chargers could get the 11th pick and JJ for the 5th pick. It cost the Dolphins I think two FRPs for Tyreek Hill. Plus the Chargers building for teh future -

The vikings are moving up for probably Drake Maye or Daniels at 2 or 3

Just want to say....got to stay off Twitter. We have a lot of dumb,/ clueless fans....(both apply, I'm not gonna sugar coat it) saying stupid shit on there today.

We are not trading for Jefferson.....who has turned down 30+ mil. A year from Minnesota....we are not!

We didn't trade Keenan to save 23.1 mil to build this year to acquire another receiver with a huge cap hit.

                      Use your brains people!

That's right my bad it's early in the morning! But there is a chance we trade for Justin Jefferson! We've always had star WR's and the cap goes up next year? I think though we are probably going for one of the top 3 WR's in the draft! We'll see how things unfold!?

SIGH! Weren't you the poster that said "The Chargers are not going to sign Gus Edwards"! You're not always right either pal!

                          WFT or NE

That will be the target. I think they are looking past the Chargers.
