It’s a valid question, given his penchant for wearing out his welcome. All I know is that if Jim freakin Harbaugh can’t turn this team into a consistent winner, then I don’t know who can. At that point, I’m moving on.

That said, I believe he can. But maybe not this year.

In the short term, all we can do is hope for mistake free cohesive OL play.

I am expecting some eyeopening moves in the off season, but don't dare say what I think they are yet.
      We play modern Harball.

Ladd McConkey was the 34th pick in the draft and they traded up for him. That’s a “high pick” in my book and he’s not even a prototypical WR1.

Besides, maybe Harbaugh looked at QJ’s ponytail and thought THAT’s our WR1 like Telesco did.
Good points. Especially about the pony tail

I hope we can keep Jesse Minter around to replace Harbaugh someday. He has done a superb job with the defense so far and only reason we aren’t 0-4.

I don't agree. If you're judging based on his Bears game in Chicago, it's not a good sample size. Everett was a far bigger threat on offense and the passing game than Dissly or Hurst are. And I've defended Dissly and Hurst saying that they're better than people give them credit for. Everett helped Justin Herbert a big deal and he was a contributor in the team that made the playoffs in 2022.

The passing game of Greg Roman is horrible? A lot of his play design seems to intend for one guy, and I don't know what the other receivers are doing. That is no creativity.

Minter is a winner for sure. Great young coach.

These guys are better blockers, but so pedestrian as pass catchers. Man our offense is boring. Needs a talent infusion...beyond the o line!

Mike McDonald was the talk of the league and then the Lions put a 42 spot on them.

Dan Quinn making a case for defensive guys on their second go round. He's smart with his OC hires. In ATL with Shanahan and now with Kingsbury. He knows what he doesn't know..

I'm surprised Spags hasn't gotten another look. He's been stellar for the Chiefs.

You all had a whole offseason to adjust expectations and Google, "bully ball".
It's in the Thesaurus as an antonym for, "traditional Chargers football"

No I'm not, I'm judging by his 2 years here and being mediocre and below average run blocking. He hardly plays in Chicago.
Everett was a short throw to him and he would fight for yards. If he didn't do that well, hec his YPC would be about 5 YPC instead of 8.1 and 9.6 in 2022. I wouldn't even call him a threat. I didn't want him back well before we even signed anybody.

Granted Hurst hasn't done much as a receiver but the whole pass game hasn't done a lot. We are last in pass att.
