This is total fantasy, but if both continue to struggle, would anyone entertain a Herbert for Hurts trade? The total money seems the same, not sure how each individual year breaks down.

Hurts seems like the kind of QB to execute Roman's offense, at least based on historical precedent. Would also be a more durable option.

Obviously would never happen, these kind of mega trades never happen in the NFL, just more of a "what if..."

I would agree, but I don't think Harbaugh will ever get rid of Roman...so I think if Herbert struggles through 2024...all options should be on the table.

I would agree, but I don't think Harbaugh will ever get rid of Roman...so I think if Herbert struggles through 2024...all options should be on the table.

Harbaugh isn't getting rid of Herbert either so that idea won't ever happen.

the problem is not herbert. it's the interior oline. harbaugh plays a gimpy herbert over all the qbs including some starters in the league. even josh allen has struggled this season. so yeah, teams struggle when were not playing with a full deck.
