No. Apparent shoulder injury is all that was reported. I suspect that it's more of a 'roster' injury than real.

Kind of cool that we might play those sneaky games now to keep players we want, but worried about WR depth. Has any of our receivers finished a whole season lately? And Meachump doesn't count.

I thought I read that he was being IR'd for a knee issue....I hadn't heard about the shoulder (that is, if he is injured at all ).

Yeah, got Willie mixed up with the other WR DePalma who was reported IR to the shoulder.

I understand fans or teams wanting to "stash" players on the IR in hopes of having them on the team next year but I am not a fan of that practice at all. Players on IR are not allowed to practice with the team for the entire season (whether they heal or not). So that means they will not be improving as players at all. If they are not currently good enough to make the team, how would not practicing for a year help improve the player? I would rather place a player on the practice squad and take the risk of them being signed to another teams 53.

The majority of issues with young players is mental.

I completely disagree with you on this then.
