Gus looks great, running through those massive holes that a real OL opened for him. Hope he gets to see some decent blocking here under Devlin and Roman.

I have no problems with the Gus - seems like a solid rotational type of a player. But that is all he is. He is not a bell cow RB. Given our cap, I guess this is about all we can expect.

I don't know, I'm still on the Allen bandwagon. That might change but I doubt it. Edwards and Allen would be brilliant. Defenses would be dead by the 4th quarter and those 2 would stay fresh throughout the game. Talk about dominate running game.

I doubt he is our main RB. We will draft another and have a commity. Gus is OK but he isnt someone we want starting and be the bell cow. We may not even have a bell cow. Id guess we draft one of Benson, Allen, Wright, Lloyd, Corum,and even Estime with his slow time. Shipley is a possibility, just not one my favs.

Corum isnt my fav here of the group but id bet Harbaugh really likes him and id be ok with him. My two guys are Wright and Benson. I put Wright ahead of Benson because he has some Pacheco in him and i like that.
We'll see which one we get.

I can't speak for TC but if I may hazard a guess, an OL with a not Clapp C that is expertly trained physically and mentally to execute team blocking plays.

Okay okay, short of being a bell cow, Gus is better than any RB we had on the roster last year, including the way less than expected play from Ekeler. Great guy to have in the rotation, yes.

I can see it. I worry that Gus and Allen are redundant but in Roman I trust.
frankly I think you can't go wrong with redundancy sonlong as they're effective--just trying to implement "conventional wisdom" but I'm open.
