Welcome back home. Lord we need a presence in the middle at linebacker that’s a thumper and brings it; he’s a vet, great at blitzing and pressure as well. Now we just have to welcome him, let him get settled and in the groove, then take all steps short of not preparing and playing him, to keep him ready and available to play. I am happy, stoked and excited we have Perryman rejoining the L A Chargers.

I remember watching a game during DP's time.
My 10 y/o daughter coming into the room and pointing out DP and asking me, "daddy what does he do?"

"Well baby, he stops the other team from running."

The next play DP stops a running back cold in his tracks.
2 plays later he does the same.

Then she said, "wow, he really does!"

With KA gone to Chicago, Bosa became the only guy on the roster who played for the San Diego Chargers. With the Perryman signing, it's back to two.

I do remember one play, in 2021 his first year gone from the Chargers, with the Raiders, he gave up a key pass completion to Jared Cook that converted a 1st down and kept a crucial drive alive.
