Meh. Nothing against the guy and have always loved his physicality but his limitations have always been a problem. He was never a star when here as a younger player and I don't expect him to be this year either. I think this will be his fourth team in five season? To me he's a JAG and a place holder till the solution there can be found.
Welcome Back, Denzel Perryman!

Experienced 2 down LB on one year deal for half the price of Kendricks. i don't mind it.

Agreed - I expect to get more impact from Perryman (if he stays healthy) than we did from Kendricks, who was meh at best . . . . . . .

Perryman will help the run defense, but what we really need is an upgrade at IDL . . . . . . . . which we all know. Denzel is a very good run defender, but nobody can be effective with a couple of 300 lb Olinemen leaning on them . . . . . . . . . we've got to find a way to keep the LB's clean(er), particularly the lighter pass coverage types . . . . . . .

Perryman should do okay behind our DL, if the absolute best they do is not get pushed backwards, winning. 🥇

Our guys aren't AD but they're big athletes who did well in college.
