Alt switched to Jumbo TE on the right side in unbalanced formations at ND.
He has a right hand stance.

Therefore, Alt projects to ORT with few bumps in the road.

2. Did anyone catch Jim mention that he sees Pipkins as one of their best 5 and anticipates him starting on the OL. And also says Atl is a OT. So does that mean Pipkins is a guard now?

I posed the question a month or so ago. Nobody responded. Maybe he wins the job and Salyer is guy 6 or 7.
Maybe Mason fills that role we wanted for Horvath.
He did it for Harbaugh at Michigan.

Probably move him to RG given his contract.

That's a great way to build depth.
Salyer was a day 3 guy who imo is a tackle in a guard's body.
There really is no restrictions on any position switches on the OL.
it literally can be, "best 5"
And remember, 3rd OT gets plenty of snaps in Jim's offense.

If they can trade down and still get either Kris Jenkins or Michael Hall Jr. I think that would be a successful 2nd round selection.

I’m surprised. I think they would’ve picked MHJ if the Cards had not. I think they had some concerns about Nabers. He’s not a complete WR like MHJ. I’m surprised they didn’t draft Bowers though. Alt had better be great. Herbert better not be sacked off the edge one time this season. They passed up some good players to get Alt.
