OL’s the safest bet. Almost all of them became pro bowlers.

WR was the worst. About half were busts.

From what I saw of QJ’s first season, he’s another flaming bust by the Telesco/Staley shitshow.

Of course there’s always exceptions. Fluker, was another flaming bust by Telesco.

I believe Alt is blue chip and can help transform the OL into an asset versus the liability it’s been since LT era. If Harbaugh can’t properly evaluate an OT prospect, then nobody can.
QJ doesn't need to be all world.

If he can at least improve enough to be reliably average, it would be huge for us.

I think the signal so far this offseason has been clear from the new staff: WRs and passing game is not the priority, at least not right now.

Again, this team is not being built to win track meets. We probably lose most of those types of matchups when the weather is nice. That's 100% ok. It's being built to go into KC, Baltimore, Cincy and Buffalo in January and punch people in the mouth. And we'll be damn good at it, too.

Dominick Puni got to be one of their targets tonight. Ideal player on this line.

I think we go WR 2nd. Puni is a late 2nd/3rd.

Puni is an OT who looks great under center. We'd have an enormous OL.

                What about DT?!?
There are really good DTs there. They won’t last long..
This team seems to build in the trenches.

Can't have them too tall.... Herbert already gets too many balls batted down.

                    Alt pick makes sense
see if Telesco wants Pipkins or somebody today or tomorrow
take the extra cap hit this year - its only 2.5m but clears it next year

Trade down in R2 - get another 4th or late 3rd

I played in a trash league many a moon ago. Our OL was bigger than the Carolina Panthers. I was a TE/Outside 3rd Tackle. Every where I went they knew we were running that direction. They'd yell out, "RUN RIGHT!" & we'd go, "Yes. And there's not a damn thing you can do about it.". Come 4th Q, their fight was completely gone.

I can't tell you how satisfying that is.

Centers are pretty tall in the league 6'5 is good Center height.

For example, Ragnow on the Lions is 6'5, Browns' center is 6'6, Miami's 6'5, etc. A lot of 6'4 centers as well around the league: KC, Bengals, etc.

                        Most top centers are 6'4+.

Can’t wait to watch games where Mahomes is on the sideline in fourth quarter looking helpless because he won’t get the ball back for a comeback.
