Lots of people are sour on Junior Colson right now, but I loved the pick. Hortiz aced the draft.
I mean, whose got it better than us...?
My favorite pick of the draft.
If health permits, he will succeed James as the defense's leader one day.

I posted this in a different thread. I won't say Nabers is a head case, but I don't think he would fit in with the type of team Harbaugh is trying to build, and he showed it after the Giants got blown out by the Buccaneers today. McConkey definitely does fit in with us.

Chirs Collinsworth had some nice compliments and insights on McConkey in the commentary last Sunday against CIN. After McConkey made the 2 grabs to set up the winning TD, he said that is why teams draft players from Alabama, Georgia, LSU etc. Because they are used to playing in big games and making the clutch plays when needed.

We had many drops in past years in big games, I recall. Ekeler, and all the WRs even Keenan Allen at times could have drops especially on the road. I think QJ and JP are reliable but LM seems next level for the sure handed WR you go to when games are on the line like in the CIN game.

We have 3 starters playing at a high level from the draft and one pretty good back up in Still and Junior Colson, who has barely seen the field, is your favorite pick?

Fleet I just hope we don’t get him killed. He gets nailed a LOT.

He wanted to play NFL football. It's his call.

Colson looked good in the draft. Knowing how to run Minter's D at Mich looked like a plus. Six games and 14 tackles for the Chargers has been a letdown..I wish him well. He is currently on IR with an ankle..

they are leaning on him hard due to hands are a ball magnet and he usually has very good ball security. why we can't throw screens yo vidal is beyond me. once we secure a playoff berth i think we start experimenting more with other players.

I did too. When we traded up and got him, I cleared the couch by about 3 feet (okay....inches). He was THE guy at Georgia not named Bowers and I knew he would do this in the NFL. Sitting at the game yesterday with my 15 jersey on and getting to watch him was special. He's a North Georgia native, a UGA alum and had a huge game back home. I hate to use the term "possession receiver" but this kid IS MONEY. Definitely a cornerstone for years to come.
