Nice job picking white WR comps. In fact, you picked the three best white wide receivers of the last two decades. I’m glad you’d settle for a four time All Pro (Welker) or one of the most prolific post-season receivers of all time and a Super Bowl MVP. Yes, I too would be happy if he ends up matching any of those three, which essentially be a top fifth percentile outcome for what he could be. Odds are that aside from being white, he won’t sniff one of these players.

I wanted Zay Flowers last year; Mcconkey is slightly bigger than flowers, is faster and runs better routes. I love this pick and think if you wanted Flowers last year you should too.

Me, too. If any of us were that great to say what a terrible pick we just made then we wouldn't be on this board bitching, but in a draft room selecting.

He’s going to be Herbert’s Chris Olave. This is a pick that you have to trust Harbaugh’s knowledge of this draft class. McConkey’s measurables are identical to Olave’s.

Right now they can literally line up any of our top three WRs in any spot, which is kinda weird.

Sure, you can line up QJ outside. Hell, they could also line up Joe Alt as an outside receiver. QJ showed consistently that he is a terrible outside receiver last year. Bad hands, shit separation, poor routes, and absolutely nothing to make you think that he has the intelligence to run option routes. There is a chance to salvage QJ, which basically involves making him a gadget player (great use of the 21st pick in the draft). That means jet sweeps, screens, quick slants, and maybe even line him up in the backfield.

The best chance to get anything out of QJ is to get a solid. Type receiver…which McConkey isn’t.
