This was something I was curious about since Wilson went so late. Why didn’t we trade down and still pick up a similar player that knew Harbaugh’s scheme. Well there’s a difference as well.
He’s probably a lot faster. Here’s his RAS compared to Hunter Renfrow.
Definitely faster, but I'm looking at the other similarities, like route running ability and size. Could be an amazing slot WR with the ability to break out wide, for sure.

LMC is Chris Olave, exactly the same measurables. He doesn't really compare to KA, different type of WR. He can do everything Olave does.

Agreed. I don't think this one is going to be graded that well. And we lost almost an entire 'round' to move up 3 spots. Head scratcher. Can't believe the pressure was THAT real that we had to reach for a WR at the top of the 2nd. I need to stop watching the Draft.
Looks like He was drafted exactly where he should have been. So I would wager it’s a good grade.
I've stayed out of most of the draft discussion because I've been crazy busy and researching and evaluating player properly takes time, BUT - those of you panning this pick will eat your words by mid-season. McConkey instantly becomes our best receiver - he's a faster and more athletic Cooper Kupp. The guy is uncoverable and will replace KA as Justin's security blanket plus give us YAC as well (and block). He's plenty fast - faster than QJ and about equal to DD, but he can SEPERATE and get open - all the time. He ate everyone's lunch in the one on ones at the senior bowl - it wasn't even close. Speed means nothing if you can't get separation (see QJ).
I don't think he's as fast as DD. But he's fast nevertheless.
