Please correct me if I am wrong but track speed is bit different, less explosive but when they get top speed they can hold to it - I see 90 yards bombs as CBs unable to keep with him xD

Brenden Rice got many of his TDs at USC on broken plays (scrambles), where Caleb Williams broke containment from the pocket and found Rice deep. That's different from just beating a defender off the snap with speed. But it seems like a pretty good reflection on Rice, to me, that he maintains awareness, and finds an open gap where the QB can get the ball to him, and then FINISHES-- he gets to the end zone.

If you're right about Rice's long speed, and he can simply outrun defenders on a 1st & 10 from the Chargers' 25 yard line? Well, we've all seen how far Herb can throw the ball when he rolls out. If they can make that work, they will.

On draft day, Brenden gave the eulogy at his best friends funeral. No cause of death was given but the young man’s girlfriend put out a statement.

An official report yet to be released.
