Its going to be in the low 40s for the game too. I had intended to go as im 2 hours from Charlotte and my 9 year old hasnt been to a game before but not sure its worth paying the price for admission with both teams sputtering so much and to freeze my butt off in the wind...have to think more on that.

Odds are they will get Kuechly and the other guy back from concussion protocal. I expect a better defense than the debacle in Seattle. That said I give it pretty even odds. Should be a close game as usual.

When I'm home in Vegas they talk about the spreads in the paper all the time even when recaping games but I don't see it any where else I'm at.

While point spreads exist for betting purposes, they do tell a story on the perceptions of the teams playing. I rarely, if ever bet, because I work too hard for my money and can think of much better things to do with it.

Well...yes, I suppose. The home team always gets 3 points and then it goes up or down depending on who bets for or against and injuries figure in. I know how it works, i just don't care when it comes to the Chargers because I never bet on them. They screwed me everytime in the past so I stopped with them. I pretty much dont bet anymore.
