When did Rivers get hurt? Didn't think that was the question. Both will be on the field in this hypothetical. Matthews needs to have a probowl type year for this offense to be successful. If we don't significantly improve on our 27th ranked rushing offense, the passing game won't matter. We simply will not have an effective passing offense if the running game isn't setting the tone and tiring out the pass rushers.
