Small risk, big reward. D.Adams can be cut next year if it don't work. Bosa and Palmer should not be back next year anyway.
        Take a big swing Mr.Hortiz.

I'd rather trade for a decent C right now, than inherit Davante's bloated contract:

Maybe PFF weighs run blocking more than pass pro...all I know is that Zion, along with Boze, have been on rollerskates in pass pro a lot this year...

              And without Derwin.

Many might hate me for saying this but I would shop both Bosa and Derwin (if there is value to be had) . Both of these players have had a history of health issues and problems with putting the team first/being disciplined. They haven't matured enough at this point in their careers and it's still a liability IMO.

I think they should consider trading Derwin next off season.
Good player. He has trade value. And that 10mil saved toward cap is useful. The 23mil cap hit for a safety is not good business IMV. It makes more sense to trade him.
I would offer Falcons Derwin for K.Pitts.
Who has it better than us?

They love Derwin. Just goes to show what fans see compared to actual coaches. Joey is good when healthy but thats just never going to happen so i dont mind moving him. Id also disagree Derwin dont put the team first. Nobody intentionally causes a penalty. Ive seen many drop tackles not called this year though that was supposed to be an emphasis this year. Its just hard to stop doing something you been doing for years in a flow of the games.

I dont get the infactuation for Pitts. He hasnt dont anything this year with a better QB and he was projected to have a comeback year. 4 games, 8 receptions.

Cousins used the shit out of Hockenson as soon as he got to Minnesota but for whatever reason, he dont look Pitts way very often, ....whether thats because he isnt open, dont trust him or whatever. No way im trading Derwin for Pitts. Id redo Derwins contract and id bet thats what they look to do.

Pitts contract next year is guaranteed 10.8 mil on his 5th year option. They trade him now, his 10.4 mil cap hit this year gets split between dead cap and savings.
They save 10.8 mil by trading him after the season. Going to guess they look for a better option that fits them and /or also the draft.

If you're going to trade anyone for something, it should be for iOL starter.
we have to get Gus going and that will help weapons get open.

I do agree that IOL is a higher priority..... without pass blocking in middle of OL, it does not matter that we have great OT's, WR's ...etc...
