For Herbert's first three seasons, the Chargers' offense was top 10 in the league while the defense was bottom 10.

Now the defense is the league's best in points allowed and 7th in yards allowed, while the offense is at the bottom in yards gained and scoring. (The Panthers are scoring more pts per game than the Chargers.)

So we are starting at the bottom, can only go up from here. I think we see improvement next Quarter

i agree. Use the cap space to land a good RG and C. Meanwhile, our young WR;s are learning and improving.

Only one problem...Herbie's gonna need some time to throw to ANY wideout, whether it's Nabers, Palmer, QJ or Chark...and IOL is where most of the pressure is STILL coming from...

Will be 24 on Saturday. And to be fair, Matt Ryan was a new QB for him. I agree Ridder and Mariota suck but so far he isn't thriving with Cousins either. I just don't think he is worth a 10.8 mil gamble.
Could of done that with Bowers,.. Who actually would of cost less who is playing way better and most here didn't want to use our 5th pick on because of cost.

You make good point. However, I'd rather have D.Adams and Pitts than Derwin, Bosa and unknown draft pick. Considering I have no confidence in Bosa playing. And I don't think safety is getting enough done to be paid 20mil
