The Chargers' D leads the league in fewest pts allowed, 13 per game. The next best D in that category is Pitt, with 14.4 (they play the G'nts tonite).

Going from mid 20s to 1st is a truly REMARKABLE achievement for this coaching staff. Sure I grant that they haven’t played any offensive juggernauts yet - ok so then adjust it down 10 spots if you’d like. Did ANYONE anticipate a top 10 unit at the mid point this year with these players? They are doing this despite adding just a handful of cheap journeymen on 1 year deals, and no big name additions.
