I'd rather be 8-4 than 6-8, but I think our offensive inefficiencies make us very, very vulnerable. But we finally have the coaching needed to steadily guide the ship.
They are both already out. "Competing" for worst team in the NFL. Neither have anything to play for. LVR team already turned on their idiot coach so they aren't going to fight for him. They will all be thinking about 2025 and self-preservation and family vacations the last 2 weeks of the season imo.

LVR is not playing well, setting aside the KC game they should have won they lost their last prior 7 games (latest first) by 10, 15, 17, 7, 5, 19, and 16 points. They are getting their asses kicked on the regular. Players could be checking in for their Cancun flights at game time.

NE: lost by 1 yesterday vs IND (which makes me doubt IND, not fear NE). Prior games spreads recent to earlier: 19, 6, -16 (W vs Bears), 3, -3 (W vs Jets), 16, 20. 2 wins in last 7 is better than LVR, but they are still a bad team. NE averages 119 ypg rushing, LAC averages 112. meh, they will have no advantage there, we give up less yards per game rushing on defense than they do. Should have Perryman back. NE Players could be checking their NYE club reservations at game time.

Being more than a one and done is the problem.

If they roll with the current WR’s then they stand no chance.

We all know this. Even Velo.
my crystal ball sees they make the playoffs and are 1/done. Thats ok if true - year 1 success!
I don't see any WRs coming to the team in 2024.

To me it has become pretty clear the first-season objectives for Hortiz and Harbaugh was 1. do the best you can with the players you've got and 2. evaluate the roster to determine where help is most needed. Then in year 2 with lots of cap space and a bevy of draft picks, load up the roster and fix the problems, then take the league by storm in the 2025 season.

The Chargers at this point have $74 mil in cap space for 2025, 7th most.

Right now they have 11 draft picks - one in each of the first 4 rounds, two 5th rounders, three 6th rounders and two 7th rounders.

The team's 8-4 record right now is a testament to Harbaugh's coaching ability and the mojo Minter has brought to the defense. Nobody expected the defense to be this good. The Chargers will make the playoffs this season, they won't be in the Super Bowl, but next year...

I think so too - I thinkj they made it
Colts might run the table but that means beating Denver - which I am totally good with

Dolphins really only tough game is Houston. They also play the Niners but that team is not good this year. Jets twice - who knows, maybe the Jets pull a shocker just because

With that, the Chargers need to go 3-2 -- might as well start this Sunday and beat the Chiefs

So that leaves winning 2/3 from TB, NE and LV. We might even need to win all 3. The Bucs will be fighting for the playoffs and even the Pats and Raiders have looked tough lately, both games on the road.

Injuries and poor offensive play calling are catching up to us, unfortunately. We're never going to get gifted another 4 INT game again.

Not surpised but did you expect a 4 INT at all this season? It was a nice surpise. Id like to see us able to get more pressure on QBs. We shut Denver right the fuck down last time. KC is a winnable game, they havent looked good but yeah we need more than just McConkey to step up. Its really sucks we didnt get a better TE situation.

We'll see if Davis lets Brady drive his bus, I actually could see that. Brady has a strong charismatic and dynamic personality and rings running over to his second hand. TT has a cooling bag of spit.
Brady cant do much if he wants to cash in on his 375 mil broadcast deal. He has restrictions doing that so i dont know how much he can be involved in football operations. He only owns 5% and Davis is selling more so Davis apparently just wants cash and doesnt care who it is.

We'll see whats they do but i figure they will fuck it up.

I expect two or more of the 7, 8, 9 teams to stumble enough that 10 wins gets us in. They don't have tough schedules, albeit Indy plays Den, but expecting all of those teams to run the table is going all in in the hopes of drawing an inside straight imo. Colts and Fins both already have 7 losses, they have to win 5 straight and I don't see them doing it.
I think we will already be playoff bound when we meet LV again and we may rest some players to get healthy. I hope we dont NEED that game for anything.

Chargers haven't won in the Roomba. It would be so nice, as I go to this game with my BIL duh fan.
