Yeah, they will likely go OT with their 1st rnd pick. That is a huge weakness for the Chiefs. The good news is we will have a better idea where the Chargers stand before the draft. I'm really excited to see what Hortiz does with 11 draft picks and 100ish mill cap space. But first thing first beat Denver..lol

Funny they have 1 loss with a good iOL and two bad OTs and we have two good OTs and crap iOL and have 6 losses and our QB getting smacked around.

Mahomes can mask bad OT's by being able to scramble. Herbert can mask a bad IO by being able to scramble. Herbert has been hobbled since day one. When Herbert was healed and had more mobility, he was looking much better. He was able to roll out of the pocket to either pass or run on his own.

But to your point the Chargers are not anywhere near the Chiefs yet but they are heading in the right direction. A few key FA signings and a good draft with 11 picks can close that gap pretty fast.

Don't be stupid and try to win it all this year - have a long term plan. We saw the Hortiz plan in FA this last year. My guess, 2025 Free Agency will be much different!

I don't get all the bitching that is going on about the Chargers. This team should be nowhere near the playoffs this year and yet here they are fighting for a playoff spot. The Bengals, Colts, and likely the Dolphins should have been better than the Chargers this year. The Chargers were in such a bad spot when Hortiz/Harbaugh took over it's a miracle that they are where they are now. The culture has changed in one year and they are light years ahead of where they should be. The future is very bright for this team.

I posted in the first half that they looked like a Staley coached team all of the sudden. But I didn't go all negative.

It looks like the Chargers will finish the season 11-7. If they can't improve seeding by beating the Raiders in week 18, I suppose there is a chance Harbaugh will sit the starters. But the Raiders may be motivated to lose anyway if they have a chance at the #1 overall pick.

Let's assume the Chargers beat the Patriots and Raiders and win 11 games. What was your pre-season prediction for wins this season? I predicted 11 or 12.
