Right now, it's just smoke but apparently the Chargers are favorites to trade for Tyrek Hill. Also I've read they may be interested in trading for Jets WR Garrett Wilson.

MLFootball on X: "🚨NEWS: The Los Angeles #Chargers are the co-FAVORITES to trade for Tyreek Hill if Miami moves on from him, per @BovadaOfficial. 👀 Tyreek is an 8x Pro Bowler & a Super Bowl champion. LA will heavily pursue a major offensive weapon to pair with Justin Herber. (📸 @Dav1dChabot) https://t.co/6jadZpM14A" / X

I've seen/heard nothing that suggests that ASJ has 'quit'. I think it's a matter of Joe Hortiz having managed to acquire CBs who are faster and tackle better than ASJ does.

It sounds like utter <excrement>, to me. Tyreek Dollars could be far more judiciously spent to build an even BETTER team. It absolutely does not have the feel of a Joe Hortiz move, to me.

I don't believe anything until I see it happen. Just posting for discussion purposes and thought it would get a few responses (negative)...lol

You got him up to 10% of what Herbie is making. No, it’s not spit in our bucket, it’s just spit in an NFL QB bucket. Nobody’s looking for you and me to buy everyone at TPB a new e-scooter . I think you may be on to something there, idunno. Do QBs only have to buy 5, or do all the backups get one too? Like 9 or 10 depending on team?

ASJ is not playing when jaSir or Leonard is … and i don’t know why? It’s not a faster thing, naw. Tackling, sure - maybe. I wonder what it really is.

Herbert's salary this year is $6 million and he will make approximately $11 million in endorsements for a total of $17 million in income. Of course, this isn't taking into account the signing bonus he already received. I did see someone say that the luggage and gift cards were over $5k a piece for the linemen, for whatever that is worth. I would guess that is "competitive" to what Purdy actually spent, but that is just a guess. The gifts were for all offensive linemen, not just the starters.
