So I re-did my recent mock. Made a couple changes after reactions and looking a bit closer at these prospects…Some of these guys are just going higher than we all want to admit, I think.

I added a couple re-signs and another FA too…And no, I didn’t blow a bunch of coin just to get players, cause that’s not Hortiz’ MO…

I don’t think Arroyo is getting out of the 1st. I DONT want to see this guy in KC, although they really do have bigger problems on their line and they don’t have a lot of FA cap space.

ALSO…I WANT GADSDEN. I know. The Lisfranc. But he came back and was a freaking monster last year. This guy runs WR routes, has a wicked double move, hands of gold and is basically just a giant WR and a real red zone weapon.

I also upon fan request got rid of Sawyer and got the coaching staff some of their guys…

I am not sure the Chargers sign both Jefferson and Maye back - I can see only one of them. Bozeman for back up depending on free agency.

I would too but I'm still making him an offer if they don't before FAcy.
Maybe they love this edge class and/or maybe Carroll would like to get Uchena Nwosu back. He had a unhealthy season and he could be a cut or trade candidate.

He had a good season under Pete.

Nwosu makes sense to be released by the Seahawks as they are up against the cap unless they move on from Geno, all probably. Aside, I know there has been a lot of talking about the Seahawks trading Metcalf - but they can cut Lockett and get more cap space. DK is better than Lockett . I think they trade DK as they don't want to pay him longer term - not for cap space.

If Koonce is a FA - the Chargers need to call thats for sure.

WOW I am not even sure I would put Arroyo at 22, but he could blow up at the Combine even more. He could also be a serious weapon in the NFL so he could be late first round. If Loveland is gone I woudnt hate it.

Problem is the TEs and RBs I want are all likley long gone by 55 if we dont go TE or RB at 22. Maybe a trade down would facilitate getting a Hampton and an Arroyo...that is my Charger dream. Add Hampton and Arroyo and that offense wont be a struggle to watch next year!

Agree, doubt Maye is coming back, and maybe not Jefferson. He was signed late in FAcy and didn't play much.... Which I thought he should've played more. He was good when he got in there.

I didn't include him in mine but I'd be ok with it.

Yep...Jefferson was a one-man wrecking crew in our final preseason game...I also thought he would play more, but I guess that's a nice problem to have...

The thing about the Tony Jefferson and Marcus Mayes of the world - nobody is calling them on the first day offering a boat load of cash. Those guys will be signed a couple days into free agency for the vet minimum. Especially Jefferson. Though he played solid with the Chargers.

OT Rashawn Slater, Los Angeles Chargers

Like many of his peers, Slater was revitalized by the arrival of Jim Harbaugh and the system he and offensive coordinator Greg Roman implemented, as the 2021 first-round pick displayed a dominant form and earned his second Pro Bowl nod. His timing is impeccable, as a fifth-year option worth $19.04 million is all that remains on his rookie deal. With All-Pro Tristan Wirfs having set a new high for offensive tackles with last offseason's five-year, $140.63 million extension, Slater and the Bolts have a pricey new reference point in any talks.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
                      Let’s win one for Mack.

I’d love to give Roman 3 monster targets in Adam’s, Gadsden and either Arroyo or Smart on the field at the same time.

Too much really for any offensive linemen. Chargers can just franchise tag him for another year and then draft another tackle. It's guaranteed money that's the new deal breakers going forward for any player in the $25+ mil market.
