You could make a strong argument that we should let all of them go aside from Ford and Tart and perhaps Mack. I think it highly likely that we end up having to draft linemen pretty high on both sides of the ball which could once again leave us bargain hunting for FA offensive playmakers or drafting lower round picks we hope can play right away. The more I look at our roster, the more I am concluding that we have another year after this offseason to go to truly fix the mess Telesco left us in.
I agree about the priorities being Ford, Tartt and probably Mack as well. Mack is so interesting - the market seems to have heated up for him. Have heard him connected to Tampa, Raiders, Bears, Lions, Packers. So the market for Edge is there. I think he is back on a good deal for both parties

Bosa, Boze and Pipkins - I think they can do better. Like yuou said, its going to take more than one offseason to turn this around. I am not sure Hortiz has a choice but to hit free agency for

    Edge - if Mack leaves
    RG and Center
DT -- if Poona Ford leaves

I am 75/25 on Adams being the X WR

75% of me thinks go to the draft, find the right long term solution and in free agency, sign a solid player that could be an upgrade from Palmer to work with QJ and Ladd

25% of me thinks that for this year and this year only, Davante Adams is the perfect X receiver but he won't be cheap at all.

I don't think the long term answer at receiver is in the draft. I don't think T-Mac drops and I'm not sold on the fit of any of the other top receivers and the talent of any of the other true X receivers.

People are sleeping on how good Adams is still. He's a better WR than Higgins is. I see him being better for the next two years at least. Getting Adams allows the team to draft the long term replacement next year or the year after. I really like how he fits with the team.

I give Higgins the nod slightly because he is younger and I was impressed with how good Higgins was last year. That said, Adams is the best fit of any current WR that is expected to be a free agent (meaning Cooper, Allen, Williams, Diggs, Kupp, Godwin, Hollywood, Slayton)- Adams is better than all of them. Especially when you consider the fit next to Ladd. I think he has at least one good year left and it might be two.

TMac is the best option. There were intriuging players like Jayden HIggins and a couple otehrs but they would need time.

Herbert would love Adams for sure. Its going to cost 40/2 though

May I present a third option if Zeitler returns to the Lions which I think is likely.
Fries might come less expensive and sign Daniels also who Boltnut likes at center, and could replace Zion at guard if need be. Gives us options in the draft and can go TE and RB top 2 or 3 rounds.

My prediction - if he isn't signed by March 10 by the Chargers when the tampering period starts -- he will be leaving the Chargers as the market has gone crazy for Khalil Mack

If he does, hopefully someone overpays him based on past production, not future production and we get a compensatory pick next year.

There is a rumor floating on the weekend of a deal between the Chargers and Lions...Bosa traded for 4th round pick. Would be all over that if its not bullshit

Good let the Bears have him and draft someone like JT Tulmoloau in the 2nd to fill his spot.

I hope you aren't reading my posts -- but my idea for the Niners was helping their cap by paying Bosa's signing bonus to facilitate a trade like the Broncos paid for Von Miller when he was traded to the Rams

But where did you read this about Bosa for a 4th -- I think the Chargers would take that in a heartbeat. For a 4th round pick I might kick in $2-3m actually!
