True, but we just watched what a monster rotational D line does to Mahomes. I still think they need to go get another high quality DT and another EDGE.

If we do OG, WR, C in Free agency I will be very happy with RB / TE or TE / RB rd 1 and 2

Williams, Sweat, or Baun. Give me any 2 of the 3. So many options will be available in free agency for the Chargers.

I generally think GMs have tendencies and patterns in their strategies and this might be something we see from Hortiz regularly.

Yep...Trader Joe likes to get extra comp picks...and when he trades up, he does a pick flop instead of trading away picks outright, the way TT used to regularly trade away 4th and 3rd rounders to move up...

Another trade the Chargers could explore is trading a day 3 pick for Jaycee Horn CB, Carolina. He is a shutdown CB the Chargers could use. Horn would carry with him a $12.4 mil cap hit. There are no rumors that I know of with Chargers trading for Cook or Horn. Just looking at other options.

Last word is that Horn wants to stay with the Panthers and that they may extend him...though I guess a trade is always possible...

Interesting. Thanks for the article. I would prefer the Chargers not trade for players but know Hortiz isn't shy trading for a player as long as it makes sense.

So da Bolts could hire TT and put him in a position where he's at his BEST. Scout/Getting players to sign for cheap kinda position. Definitely not a top guy, but a good "bottom guy."
Dude's unemployed. He does have some value. Heck, if Chad Alexander (being interviewed by Jags) gets hired away, maybe TT could be a viable consideration (not necessarily a hire at that position, but a consideration/interview.) Interviews can help your team gather information and knowledge. If you're character is to improve yourself, you will find a way to improve - Maybe he's learned from his mishaps as a GM and be a Solid "Robin" to "Batman" Hortiz (or at least a "Batgirl" since Harbaugh says Hortiz and him are interchangeable "Batman n Robin.")

If Trader Joe gets intel someone is targeting Mason in mid round 2, maybe he pulls a trade up for him just like the Conk deal...we have plenty of ammo...

I wouldn't be surprised if he trades up in the 1st or 2nd rnd. I think it's less likely he will trade up in the 1st as I think it will cost too much. The 2nd rnd though I think he could/will.

Yep...sign a solid FA G, C, TE, RB and WR...then try and pick up TE and RB early, best G or C in round 3-4, then BPA the rest of the way...

I think he will trade back this year in Round 1 to get the draft picks to trade up in Round 2
