Also, the Ravens prioritized repeatedly investing in OL, to wit Zeitler was signed, even with several draftees on board.

I am saying it is best to stick with Devlin and the techniques taught in GRo's system.

As Maniaque 5 points out, we have a personnel problem and must continue to invest.

You cannot tell me that Ryan Nelson, Karsen Barnhart, Brandon Taylor, Andre James and David Sharpe makes us whole.

You cannot tell me that it is wise to vent about Devlin and scapegoat him, while ignoring big picture truths, and while dismissing the fact that Devlin has tirelessly attempted to school non instinctive Zion and Bozeman to magically become more instinctive.
Joe D was a great OL coach. He always got more than he was given.

It’s late now, they aren’t changing coaches. I still think they should have - I would welcome Devlin proving me wrong somewhere else if he can.
    RIP CK

If you read the New Orleans game day thread, someone(s) was calling Rocket a bust after his first couple of runs because he didn't get much yardage.

Of course later in the game he shined and now he’s a legend.

I was very excited when he signed and believe he has a lot of potential but these wild projections about every player based on a a couple of training camp highlights and preseason snaps are extremely premature IMO.

Same with Tre Harris. He’s a bust because he hasn’t had a 100 yard preseason game yet.

^ This...like ahem, SOME people who made wild predictions about dudes like Dotson a year or two ago based on two house calls he made in preseason against scrubs...terrible, totally terrible...ahem...

People like to root for underdogs. It's quite satisfying to see late-round picks and/or UDFA players you screamed for to be starters or at least in the rotation become viable, sometimes overachieving contributors. It's obviously a crap shoot, but when you hit on some, it feels good. I banged the table for Austin Ekeler and Michael Davis when they were UDFA signees. Same for Drue Tranquill, Breiden Fehoko and Jahleel Addae. I also rooted for Jerrod Clark and Zack Bailey, even Michael Harris at one point so you can't win them all.

Maybe we can bring in about 20 UDFA D-linemen for tryouts, and have them all take snaps at G until one shows flashes of becoming another Kris Dielman?

No ones a bust after 2 preseason games! But Tre Harris with his demand for a guaranteed contract hasn't looked good in the first 2 games! We'll see tho shortly if he has the right stuff. I hope he does.

LOL, ...thats how it goes round here.

Got 2 games to go but at this stage i still think Hines is going to make it over Sanders. Hines is good at pass protection and still has some speed. Scat back we dont have. Sanders isnt bad in pass protection, he is ok. Doesnt matter to me either way but thinking we keep 4 and Hines likely one of them.

However, no idea whats up with Harris. If they have to PUP list him, Sanders should make it. Im already including Haskins in this group.

Except for Dalevon none of the WRs looked good in PS game 2. But Harris is not distinguishing himself in camp either. Good thing we signed KA. Looks like he, Ladd and hopefully QJ are 1, 2 and 3 with KLS next

Maybe that's why the Bolts drafted KLS when a pretty good G in Miles Frazier was available--Chargers wanted to be REAL sure they had wideout covered after departure of Slayer, Mike Will and Palmer...all those injuries at WR also I think prompted them to double dip...

Has anyone seen an update on the Eric Rogers injury?

                          well played.

The man has not shown the skill required to tack into a headwind.
