    That's the word I saw.

There are other inquiries they can make and maybe he has and teams just have said no or asked for too much.

We always assume they aren't doing anything and I'm sure they are,....most team aren't OL rich and getting a.good one if they are willing to give them up will cost.

Cam Robinson isn't a.good one but for swapping 7ths worth a try.

Even if Alt and Becton return you're still looking at the trio of Zion/Bozeman/Pipkins. They just give up way too much pressure way too easily. The Bronco and Giants games were not anomalies, they will be replicated by teams that will twist/stunt us to death. You simply can't operate an offense this way, much less keep your franchise QB alive. At this point we need to hope Herbert doesn't pull an Andrew Luck and say it's just not worth it. If that Popper article is true, he is on pace to set the record for number of QB hits taken....by a lot. Fuck.
Yup its a concern that our valuable franchise QB is on pace to take the most pressures and hits in NFL history. Even worse than the massive pressures Matt Ryan took that one year. Pathetic.

And its not all on the injury excuse as you have pointed out. There was ample evidence on Bozeman and Johnson from last year but they elected to trot them out again this year and they still cant handle stunts and blitzes just like they couldnt last year.

Sorry but what they are subjecting Herbert to is a big FAIL and Hortiz and Harbaugh own it.

Yes no doubt they are. Might've been time better spent seeing which OL coaches are out there.

i'm pretty certain Zion would get a nice contract offer on the open market.
Fans are looking for All pros and teams are looking for solid players on the Oline.

If Pip is healthy, he's also a solid OT.

If an OC can't work with that, he sucks.

Zion Johnson is not a solid OG, and Pipkins is subpar.

Zion was a first round pick and one of TT's winners as was pip who was overdrafted in the 3rd round.

When your # 1-2-3 Oline are out
The only thing an OC can do is calling for help

5 out 8 OL were draftees... 3 of them being 1st round picks.
I’m talking about this regime. Which is why I think this coming draft will be defense first 2 rounds and then depth Oline and DLine. I think they take 2 Olinemen from rounds 2-5 and start to build out the depth along with some vets to battle it out.

I don’t know what you’re seeing as far as Zion, but he’s playing well this year so far. He missed 1 stunt yesterday and that was his only pressure given up. Zion has taken a step forward and if he keeps playing this way, they will resign him.

I'd bet he'll get Aaron Banks type money with some team, if not resigned by LA ... we'll see.

If Pip is subpar, then most RTs today are subpar.
Within the division there is Jawaan Taylor (Chief fans want benched), Mike McGlinchey and Dj Glaze.

He's pretty much average as a starting RT.

It is time to quote some of the other stuff Popper had to say and to listen to Harbaugh.

There are no OCs who could scheme up to overcome our OL issues, health, depth and talent wise.

The only answers lie in house.

We can only work to improve the play of those we have, in executing blocking assignments, picking up stunts and blitzes, and developing cohesion.

If we are being smart and realistic, there are no other answers.

I am going to point out to you again that in our last five games, Houston, Denver, and NY Giants have the best pass rush groups in the NFL.

The injuries to Slater, then Becton, then Alt, are way too much to overcome.

Too much to overcome? They beat Denver and should have beaten the Giants if they didn't shoot themselves in the foot repeatedly with penalties, drops, INT's and poor game planning
