BTW, those are some good and fair takes.

idunno, we’d have to replay the tape and thats not like me to do that lol…"The author assumes no responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions in the content of this post. I also noted that Zion has a lot of quality vet C support. Most notably Hardwick but also coach Devlin and retired C Linsley.
We know damn well that KC will attack our IOL game 1. We also know damn well that coaches Harbaugh and Roman are aware also.
So, will we be ready? LOL! I think so. The next few weeks will be huge. I also know that Harbaugh intends to win vs KC in Brazil.

IDK, most everyone including myself we accepted the fact that the team had limited resources to go out and stock the roster, I think Tart moved the needle more on these forums than Ford did, when they claimed Tart off of waivers people were relieved that Ford, Otito, Fox, Matlock, and Eboigbe were going to get some much needed help...Tart was the one I remember folks around here getting more excited about. But Ford? not so much...I mean people were hopeful we'd get a serviceable player but I don't think anyone anticipated or said that they expected the year that Ford ended up having...This is part of the genius of what the Ravens have done for years and years...Hortiz knows how to tap into those veterans that might be highly motivated to perform even for low level compensation. I wonder if Hand and Jones end up being more like Tart and Ford and less like Hurst and Chark...I guess you can't hit on all of them...
Fox was bad against the run and imo losing him was ok
He added some pass rush but his run defense was weak .

The Chargers have other candidates to rise up and become the stud #2 to McConkey, Harris and Gadsden specifically. QJ had 55 catches for 711 yds and 8 TDs last season. That is good production for 3rd or 4th receiver, which is all QJ may ever be. He's still on his rookie contract and a bargain for that level of production. The Chargers have to make a decision on his 5th year option after this season. If his level of play doesn't take a big leap forward this season, they can opt not to pick up his 5th year and let him play out his rookie contract in 2027 and move on. However, if QJ has a breakout season in 2025, like the Texans' Nico Collins did in his 3rd season, it becomes a different story obviously. I think the Chargers are in good shape in receivers going forward. They added 2 rookie WRs and a stud TE in this draft, in addition to Ladd & QJ.
I think anyone holding onto his draft position in how they judge him, has to let that go by now, and just see him for his current value to the team.Chargers logo:
