No, no...to the contrary...Dmac is making a valuable contribution to the giddy and euphoric atmosphere in this forum...better than ahem, SOME people who can be truculent and bellicose at times...
It's a good feeling to be giddy at week 15 of the schedule - unlike other years where we were dressed in sack cloth by week 8 . . . . . . . . . If that means I have to put up with TC's 'puns', so be it. Everything has a price . . . . . . . . . .
I read that it would cost the Chargers $200k to sign him off waivers. I'm neutral on this. If Hortiz/Harbaugh think it's the right move then go for it, if not then don't.
Time to put my money where my mouth is: Hampton will be better than Jeanty!

would you say that the team's improvement this year makes it easier to take his, ahem, PUNishment?

Reagor is hurt and Ladd is banged up, the team could use OBJ.
Even at his age he'd probably be the 2nd or 3rd best player of this WR group.
There is space within the WR group, he would be affordable and wouldn't cost any draft capital and is a competent player.
OBJ had a diva rep as a younger player but from what I remember from last season when he was in Baltimore was that there were positive reviews of his presence amongst younger players.

32 years old, 9 catches for 55 yds 0 TDs this season. I don't think he'd be the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th WR on the Chargers' depth chart. He's done.
