Bolts ran a lot of 3 WR and even 4 WR sets. I don't think many saw this coming--I sure didn't. All 6 WRs got at least five snaps.

Agreed. IMO we'll continue to work on the run and will pass.
It's early in the season. Roman is establishing a baseline we can grow from. And winning.

This week we could see a totally different game plan that is more run heavy. Think about it for a second. The Raiders are going to be looking at the game film from the Chiefs game. They are going to be planning to stop the pass. This in theory should lighten the box and should open up the run game.

Regardless, they need to continue sell the play action. It worked like a charm against the Chiefs. Chiefs were biting on it almost every time.

I figured they would run a lot of 3-WR sets... and was hoping for 4-WR sets.
Dissley, KA, Ladd, QJ... with Hampton in the backfield. Those are their best players.
You can run or pass out of that lineup. Dissley didn't get a lot of mention... but he got a gameball from Harbaugh.

Once Tre Harris, KLS, and Gadsden get up-to-speed... we'll overwhelm certain secondaries with even more 4-WR sets.
This is going to be fun this year!

It was a good interview. The format is really strange (two guys sitting in a parked car talking with shadows over half their faces) and dangerous (Sanchez monologue while driving on the highway.

Sanchez was an awful QB but seems to have found something he can do better.

Conklin is a much better receiver than Dissley. Did anyone break down his blocking tape from Brazil? I have no idea.
