When I picture Larry in my mind, it is always replete with his knee scooter.

Anyone notice how the Chargers placed Najee on IR days ago but still haven't filled that roster spot? This year the Chargers have been waiting until the day before Gameday to make their roster moves...I can see instances were that could be an advantage but this week it seems clear to me that one of the PS O-linemen need to go to the 53 man roster considering that we are down to 7 O-linemen and Pipkins is dealing with a knee issue...Salyer is going to start at RG in place of Becton so that only leaves Deculus and James as backups...Sarrell should get the nod here...we can still fill the need at RB using Vidal as a call up or practice squad elevation...I believe they will elevate two players total from the PS this week one being Vidal not sure who else gets the nod, maybe one of the Edge guys or maybe a linebacker (?) and I think both call ups will be active on Sunday...

Honestly, I don't know what could have become of Larry English if he didn't have that foot fracture in the 2010 TC. After that, he just kept struggling with leg and knee injuries, but I think that pre-season 2010 injury did him in and slowed him significantly to the point where the explosiveness from his college days just wasn't there anymore.

Could be how it turns out and if so - that might be the least explosive kick return combo in NFL history!

Just strictly looking at Kennard's pass rushing snaps which, granted, are a very small sample size with just 2 snaps -- he was eating a lot of ground against LT Garett Bolles, who has an average PFF pass blocking grade close to 90 for the past 5 years and he was able to get one pressure against him to hurry Nix. The run defense snaps are less impressive, but I don't think that's his strong suit -- perhaps he can develop that aspect, but I'm more interested in him as a pass rusher.

Kennard will have his best shot this week to get a sack against the Giants OLine.

Hopefully. Those 2 snaps were encouraging for me. Bolles is no slouch -- he'd be a top 5 OT in the league if his run blocking was better. You could argue Bolles is a top 10 LT right now.

He had a sack but missed it coming off the weak side. Defense cleaned up behind him still for the sack but it shoulda been his.

Speaking of filling Najee's roster spot, I guess they're going to give Vidal his shot to claim it. But if doesn't cut the mustard and they decide to go outside the building, there an RB on New Orleans' roster not named Alvin who might be intriguing. Kendre Miller, QJ and DD's teammate at TCU and drafted in their class #71 by the Saints. He's been mostly a disappointment, I think he's been injured a lot. They gave him some carries last week when Kamara struggled. He averaged about 4 ypc on 7 totes against the Seahawks last week, and caught two passes. Who knows if Miller is in their long-term plans with Kamara reaching his expiration date, but they might be able to get him for a 6th or 7th and a couple of pepperoni slices. He's only 23, 6-0, 220 lbs, reportedly ran a 4.48 40. In his final season at TCU he ran for 1400 yds, 6.2 ypc, and scored 17 TDs.

Is total 7 snaps for that game didn't look bad. No mistakes and nothing flashy. I'll take it. He just needs to log more game time snaps and continue to improve in his development.
                        My final Mock:

Yeah, maybe half a sack there mainly due to him keeping contain while unblocked with Nix running towards him in a scramble. I think the snaps against the OT were more impressive.
