A trade down might work, especially if Loveland and Kenneth Grant are both gone @#22...for example, the Bolts could trade down for the Colts' #27...from 780 to 680 is a 100-point differencial...we get their 3rd rounder, #91, worth 136 points...we throw in our early 6th rounder, #183, worth 18 pts. to make up much of the difference...if they're desperate enough, they might do that deal...if that still doesn't work, we could also do a pick flop with one of our later picks, like what Trader Joe did last year in the Conk deal...with D-linemen at a premium now after what the Eagles showed in the SB, I think a lot of teams will be chomping at the bit to stock up...

was actually thinking the opposite.... sign a swing guard/center to hedge against development/injury if you draft both an OC & OG ??

Trade 22 for 30 and pick up 56.
30 DT TYLEIK WILLIAMS OHIO ST
55 JT TUIMOLOAU DE/EDGE OHIO ST
        56 RB OMARION HAMPTON NC
        86 TE GUNNAR HELM TEXAS

We need a team like BUF who need defensive line help to come up and grab a Shemar Stewart or Kenneth Grant and the Chargers can build up their thin roster in the d line themselves from a mid round 2nd.
I truly think the Chargers need more good quantity over trading up for a one player. They need depth at some many positions - just having good players. And I trust Hortiz

I might consider trading up to get Loveland but agree those other 2 might be worth trading up for as well. This feels like one of these drafts where there will be a lot of trading given the lack of 1st rnd talent in the draft.
          My final Mock:

          1) Woods, Peter- DT/Clemson
          2) Pregnon, Emmanuel- OG/Oregon
          3) Moore, Derrick- EDGE/Michigan
          4) Demmings, Charlie- CB/S. F. Austin
          6) Klein, Marlin- TE/Michigan

I honestly think after free agency TE and RB are going to be the biggest needs going into the draft. I think they will prioritize IOL, Edge, WR, and likely DT/NT in free agency. This year's RB and TE free agent class is not very good.

Fully agree. The LAC roster isn’t a SB roster.
And it showed in the playoffs. Mahomes looked like a scrub vs the best roster in the NFL. I just heard that PHIL NEVER blitzed in the SB. Not once.
              And they had 6 sacks.
The trenches need to be addressed. BAD.
Both through FA and the draft.

For what it’s worth CBS pundit Pete Prisco thinks Kelly is gone and the Colts roll with Bortolini at center.
Makes sense if they keep Fries, someone here just mentioned the Colts will soon need to extend both tackles.

Kelly will turn 32 in just a few months...but he could be at least a stop gap until the Bolts develop their C of the future...I'm thinking a 2-year deal with an out after 1...Kelly's been solid in previous years, including one all-pro season and a couple of pro bowls, but his play has fallen off a bit this past season (see story below)...still an upgrade over Boze, though...the question is, how much $$$ will he want?

                      Kelly is a perfect stop-gap

Without doing a lot of research Telesco gave disappointing Andre James 3/24 and the Titans gave disappointing Cushenberry 4/50.
Maybe James type money for a 2 year deal.

Popper mentioned one year 6m -- I was thinking it would cost a bit more like 8-9m. But they would need to draft a Center like Popper mentioned

I think Kelly would be solid - but need a younger RG. I don't think it would be wise to have Kelly and say Martin - - need one younger player
