Chargers officials don’t answer press questions candidly and they always support their players. Every player, at all times, its their creed. The circle of life continues, they have repeated it dozens of times and will repeat it a dozen more before Christmas. nobody should be surprised or animated by either side in this kabuki dance and think more than 2 seconds about it

Let me translate: When Gro said he thinks Boze has played well, what he actually said is he doesn’t believe he has anyone better he can replace him with.

Everybody keeps foaming at the OL. I put the blame on Roman. There was a brief stretch where the offense came back from the deficit with much quicker throws and Omarion runs….but then Roman abandoned it and the train went of the tracks again.

This was and is the OC’s problem.
Yes, we all criticize Roman for his playcalling and last week it was dreadful. He has had his good days too but even the best known playcallers have bad days. Last nights 4th down call to end the game by McVay was a terrible call. Ben Johnson his first week was awful.

It is a collective effort and it starts with the coaching staff.

If Rams got the 1st down McVay would have been called a genius.

It was bad execution by the offense and perfect execution by defense.

McVay was moaning after the game about the play call and how he should have called something else.

It's like that McVay does not trust his defense.

Okay. I didn’t stick around to hear that. But sounds like he would go for it again on 4th down but just a different play.

I’ve seen much bolder calls than that. One time Shanahan defeated the Chargers by one point by calling for a two point conversion instead of the extra point at the end of the game.

Which is kind of odd because they only allowed 6 points in the second half and batteedr Jones so much that I'm not sure he could have gone back into the game if they had gone for the fg instead.

If you trust your defense, you take the 3 points
and hope to have the ball for win

Use that going forward as the limit you have to get the ball out on passing plays.

It’s as simple as that unless he prefers getting hit.
