Let's play it out. I'm not a Boze fan either but it is what it is and I want to win a SB now. I refuse to say we cannot.
If we win the Super Bowl with this o line that would be something.

Especially understanding that even if the Chargers just beat the Patriots...it will be the worst and worst ranked offensive line to EVER win A playoff game. Seriously... in NFL history.

I'm not as strong on ratings as I am enthusiastic about winning.
What you say is probably true and I'm sure that Hortiz can and will find a higher ranked, more fan popular C for the coming season.
But-Win now! Eff ratings. GO BOLT Ws!

The Steelers won the Super Bowl with a terrible offensive line in 2008.

This is what happened in their four losses.

        1. Gave up nine sacks and ran for 33 yards on 19 carries against the Eagles
        2. Gave up five sacks to the Giants. Had a decent running game, with 95 yards on 22 carries.
        3. Gave up two sacks and ran for 59 yards on 26 carries against the Colts.
        4. Gave up five sacks and ran for 73 yards on 25 carries against the Titans.

The Steelers also gave up five sacks and ran for 64 yards on 29 carries in a win over Washington. Roethlisberger was knocked out of that game. Pittsburgh's defense had seven sacks in that game. The Steelers also gave up five sacks and ran for 70 yards on 26 carries in a win over the Cowboys. Tony Romo threw three interceptions that game.

In the NFC playoffs, the 12-4 Giants were upset by the Eagles in the Divisional Round. The Eagles then lost to the Arizona Cardinals, who went 9-7 during the regular season, in the NFC Championship Game.

In the AFC playoffs, the Colts lost to us in the Wild Card round (Darren Sproles walkoff touchdown). The 13-3 Titans were upset by the Baltimore Ravens, who the Steelers swept in the regular season. The Steelers beat us (we were 8-8 in the regular season) in the Divisional Round, the Ravens in the AFC Championship Game, and the Cardinals in the Super Bowl. The Steelers gave up four sacks and ran for 52 yards on 28 carries against the Ravens in the AFC Championship Game. Pittsburgh's defense intercepted Joe Flacco three times.

The Steelers were very fortunate to avoid all of the teams that beat them during the regular season in the playoffs. They were also fortunate that Tom Brady suffered a season-ending injury in Week 1.

We're fortunate that we aren't facing the Texans or Jaguars in the first round. The Steelers sacked us five times in our win over them, but I'm confident we would be able to beat them again. Although we almost beat Houston, I would be really worried about playing the Texans on their home turf. The Bills' defense doesn't scare me as much as the Texans' and Jaguars'.

              What's fake about it

It is a fact that a team with the worst ranked offensive line in the league has never won a playoff game

dunno.... I see a surfeit of guards in FA, and ditto for centers in the draft....

signing Linderbaum in FA and drafting OG round one is def an option, and.... more marbles in play if you sign an OG or two in FA, and then wait for the draft for your OC, no ??

                    Its not my money
                    they have the cap space
Justin Herbert is their QB -- get him a damn OLine -- if its 2-3m per year - its worth it -- Herbert deserves it

So if you have two options
                    1) bring back Becton and Bozeman and have the 32nd best OL

                    2) overpay a bit for the Oline and have the top 12-15 OL and the Chargers are like 13-4 with a top 5 offense

I know which one I am picking

You don't have to overpay a player to get a top 12-15 oline. You could get a FA OC and OG for 15-20m for both and have a top 12-15 oline. They would probably have a 20 oline with just having Alt and Slater.
                      My final Mock:

                      1) Woods, Peter- DT/Clemson
                      2) Pregnon, Emmanuel- OG/Oregon
                      3) Moore, Derrick- EDGE/Michigan
                      4) Demmings, Charlie- CB/S. F. Austin
                      6) Klein, Marlin- TE/Michigan

                        Yeah ok

I guess i watched the best offensive line all year, not the worst lol. Herbert's body might disagree though
