I know people have been talking about getting a smaller, faster RB in the mold of Achane but do they really need one? OH runs a 4.4 40 at 220lbs. I don't think people have wrapped their head around what exactly McD can do with an RB with his measurable. My final Mock:
1) Woods, Peter- DT/Clemson
2) Pregnon, Emmanuel- OG/Oregon
3) Moore, Derrick- EDGE/Michigan
4) Demmings, Charlie- CB/S. F. Austin
6) Klein, Marlin- TE/Michigan

He will be a UFA. He started 14 games last year for McDaniel, and he is pretty quick at getting outside on the zone blocks. So I think being familiar with Chargers OC makes him a solid target for the RG spot. I don't think he will be too costly. 3y/15mil.Originally posted by Bolt4Knob View Post
I th ink this is pretty fair
I take it Strange is a FA and hte Dolphins may not be able to afford him
Linderbaum being a Raven is someone Hortiz has a connection with and if they are going to spend/overspend to get a splash free agent, he should be the guy.
Ravens didn't pick up the 23mil 5th year and franchise is 29m, so they won't tag him. Going rate for him seem like 18-20m per year deal.
Hortiz could offer a 5y/90mil with 50mil guaranteed and 20mil signing bonus. And if he want to be here with McDaniel, Herbert and Harbaugh, that type of deal could work.
Zion had his best year. Especially as a run blocker. I don't think he will cost too much to be retained at a decent price. 3y/18m.

OK... Here it is, in this whimsical offensive-extreme scenario:- I spent 81 mil of free cap on the offense, saving just 21 mil for defense.
- Signed Linderbaum, #1 Center FA
- Signed Breece Hall, #1 RB FA
- Signed Pitts, top-five FA TE
- Signed Shaheed, 5th rated WR FA
- Drafted Guard Vega 1st, Tiernan (swing tackle) in round two, K Rutledge for BU Guard, backup QB Klubnik
- You'll all love who I've (sarcastically) got as the 4th tackle

spotrac.com has Zion's AAV market value at 11.26 million...way more than your estimate. I don't claim to have a good figure personally, but I suspect the folks at Spotrac.com have some justification for their number.Originally posted by Critty View PostZion had his best year. Interesting conversation Ravens fans are having about Lindy. Seems like roughly 70% feel it’s a given to retain him, reminding the naysayers about how bad things were when they had guys like Boze manning the pivotOriginally posted by Bolt4Knob View Post

. On the flip side, there is growing concern with having to pay top of market $$ for someone who is only average in pass pro (their words, not mine). Heavily impacting the decision is what mgmt decides to do with Lamar’s cap hit, which is currently projected to be $75 mil for 2026. Of course they’ll probably restructure, but even then they still don’t have a lot of extra cash to work with. Extending Lindy would likely eat up a huge chunk of that money.

Linderbaum has only allowed 2 sacks over past 3 seasons.
An online search says he is and has been one of the better pass blocking centers in all the NFL.
